A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

It was about 6:05 a.m. this morning. I poured my first cup of coffee and stumbled over to the computer to start my daily routine. After checking email, I decided to do some “surfing” in one of the traffic exchanges before heading into the forum – the $200 Per Day Blueprint forum.

For those of you who have never had the pleasure of surfing the traffic exchanges, this is how they work. You go onto the site and view other members’ ads for a set period of time – usually 6 to 20 seconds. For each ad you view, you receive credits which can then be used to advertise your own ads. It’s riveting. I suggest you try it.

I was surfing away and had slipped into that “clicking coma” when it happened. This hard core porn site popped up – and I’m talking HARD CORE. Things were exposed, and well, just kind of busy – right there on my screen. And would you believe that at that very moment in time my browser decided to stall? Yes it did! (You didn’t hear this from me, but there might have been a little note taking going on. And after I finish writing this article, I’ll be doing a search on Google to find out how to make that little “print screen” button work!) I hadn’t had much coffee at that point and to be quite honest, I didn’t need any more after that. I was wide awake.

Now, occasionally, I have my children do my surfing for me. Don’t judge me…you know you’ve had your kids do worse!! Anyway, when I saw this site, that’s the first – I mean second – thing I thought of. OMG, my babies! Their eyes! Their eyes! Did they see this? Is this why they fight over who’s going to do my surfing? At that very moment I became my Mother, the prude.

There are strict rules about what types of sites are banned and porn is always at the top of that list. I’m not sure how they got it past the exchange Nazis but they did. Guess I’ll have to do my own surfing from now on. Somebody always has to ruin a good thing.
